Robb Report magazine has presented Maserati with the trophy for their Best of the Best award in honor of the Quattroporte Sport GT S.

Every year Robb Report magazine, an authority on the luxury lifestyle, conducts a series of tests across categories to find the best of luxury, including cars, yachts, watches, resorts and wines.

The Quattroporte Sport GT S won the Best of the Best trophy in the sedan category, beating some very worthy competition including the Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed and the new BMW 750Li.

This is actually the third time the Quattroporte has won the Best of the Best trophy from Robb Report – the Quattroporte won in 2004 and the Quattroporte Sport GT model won in 2006.

Only new or revised products are eligible to enter the Best of the Best competition, which means the Quattroporte is essentially a back-to-back-to-back winner, winning every time the car was eligible for the competition (when it was first introduced in 2004, with the introduction of the Sport GT model in 2006, and now with the redesigned 2009 Quattroporte).

Maserati is proud of this recognition for the Quattroporte, seen by the press as the ultimate in luxury performance sedans.
